About this deal

King of Greed” is a passionate and thought-provoking novel that invites readers to ponder the true meaning of success, the value of love, and the possibility of finding redemption in the most unexpected places. Review Her books have been sold to over two dozen foreign publishers for translation and featured in outlets such as NPR, Cosmopolitan, Financial Times, and Glamour UK. With chestnut har, blue-gray eyes, and tanned skin, Brazilian Alessandra Ferreira turned Davenport only wanted one thing: for her husband to love her as much as he did his work.

What follows is a captivating tale of love, loss, and redemption. Dominic, faced with the reality of Alessandra’s departure, awakens to the profound emptiness left in her absence. As he confronts the consequences of his obsession with success, he discovers that there might be more to life than riches and glory, but the question remains: Is it too late to salvage what he once held dear? A self-professed travel enthusiast, she loves incorporating beautiful destinations into her stories and will never say no to a good chai latte. anyway it was great to see other characters from the ana huang universe make cameos in this book. i find it funny that christian harper is mentioned/seen in every book. my husband has never looked better. I was gnawing at the bars of my enclosure *insert feral monkey sounds* 🙊 I love the fact that there was this scene where a couple from Twisted series were there. I admit, I kinda giggled when I found out it was them. His constant need for more and more was because of his past when he was poor and struggled so much to have everything in his life! Bullying, being an unwanted child, insecurities drove him to get greedy! (did I care? well nah) Dominic Davenport, once a mere nobody, defied all odds and rose to the pinnacle of power as the Wall Street King. His seemingly flawless marriage to Alessandra Davenport had always captivated the public eye. However, his insatiable greed and perpetual absence drove Alessandra to make a life-altering decision – she was leaving him.

I was fascinated by Alessandra and Dominic since they showed up in the previous books, so I signed up months ago to read this as soon as possible! i’ll probably give this series one more chance and read the next book, but i learned my lesson and i won’t have high expectations. if it’s better; good. if it disappoints me again; then it won’t be a surprise.I loved this one! From Dom and Ale’s story to catching up with Dante, Vivian, Isabella, Kai and Sloane. Ana Huang, a renowned author, has a remarkable talent for crafting stories with irresistible alpha heroes, strong heroines, and a perfect blend of steam, angst, and swoon. With a rich portfolio of bestselling novels, including the popular Twisted series, Ana is celebrated for her ability to captivate readers with her compelling narratives. Characters Alessandra, weary of living in the shadows of her own existence, mustered up the courage to ask for a divorce. But Dominic, refusing to let go without a fight, was determined to salvage their crumbling relationship. this was my sign to stop having high expectations for this series. King of Wrath disappointed me, King of Pride disappointed me, so the fact that i was 100% sure i was going to love King of Greed is actually laughable. now that i’m thinking clearly, i don’t really understand why i was extremely excited to read this — probably because of the way this book was marketed: marriage in crisis with lots of angst and groveling. great idea, but with a bad execution. and it was a hot mess. Kind, intelligent, and thoughtful, Alessandra Davenport has played the role of trophy wife for years.

KING OF GREED's exclusive editions have been revealed! Both come with a bonus letter from me, and the B&N has gold foiling as well.I still rate it two stars, so it's not like I completely hated it. I really liked that they grew and became rich together. They went from bankrupt students to a couple of billionaires. At least Dominic did it because Alessandra's family wasn't broke. There were also some good quotes here. Honestly, I'd rather read a book about them being young and falling in love than about whatever happened here. and i don’t get what the author was trying to do in the last few chapters with that bank plot and the conflict with Dominic’s brother that came out of nowhere, so unnecessary to the plot. also, i thought the ending would at least be better than the rest of the book, but it wasn’t. it was so abrupt and i didn’t like the time jumps. He has everything - a beautiful home, a beautiful wife and more money than he could spend in a lifetime. But no matter how much he accumulates, he's never satisfied.
